17.05.2007 Na lokalitetu Ravne - područje spomenika prirode Skakavac u Sarajevu potpisan je Protokol o unapređenju zaštićenog područja spomenika prirode vodopad Skakavac, vrijedan 68.500 KM.

07.02.2007 Presidenti i shoqatës mjedisore Eko Mbijetesa, Miodrag Petrovic, konfirmoi sot se ndërtimi i “fshatit ethno” do të fillojë në gjysmën e dytë të 2007, në Grabovacka Rijeka, afër Kotor Varos.

07.02.2007 Predsjednik ekološkog pokreta Eko opstanak Miodrag Petrović potvrdio je danas da će u prvoj polovini ove godine u kotorvaroškoj Grabovačkoj rijeci početi izgradnja "etno sela".

07.02.2007 The President of the Eko Opstanak (Eco Survival) environmental organization, Miodrag Petrovic, confimed today that the construction of the “ethno village” will start in the first half of 2007, in Grabovacka Rijeka, near Kotor Varos.

13.12.2006 Representatives of associations involved in the Green Network of Karlovac County and the Croatian Helsinki Committee, who just returned from London, held a public discussion on Co-existence of the Military and the Environment in the UK. They presented the public with the experiences they acquired in Great Britain, on obligations and actions of the UK Military regarding sustainable development, environmental protection and public health.

23.10.2006 The Development Cultural Information Centre MOST was accepted into full membership of the Northern Alliance for Sustainability.

13.09.2006 Although no official date for the Local Elections has been released, the citizens of Fier have already made their choice: they vote for the water. In an action last week, activists of MJAFT Movement put a lot of five-litre bottles in front of the city hall.

24.08.2006 Representatives of five environmentalist organizations, “Krste Jon", „Areal", „Enhalon" and „Green Centre" from Struga, together with the Macedonian Green Centre from Skopje, addressed the President, Government and the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia in an open letter, to express their concern over the activities that the local authorities in the city of Struga have undertaken along the coastline of the Ohrid Lake, directly endangering the coastal zone.

19.07.2006 The Goletta Verde (Green Schooner) Campaign, implemented by Italian environmental NGO Legambiente will visit Albania, July 24-26, 2006. The visit, that will cover Saranda and “Butrint” National Park, is a part of the journey that touched other Mediterranean countries (France, Spain, Tunisia, Algeria, Italy, Greece, Albania and Croazia), to promote marine and coastal parks and raise citizens’ awareness on the need to protect a crucial resource for millions of people, the Mediterranean Sea.

10.07.2006 A great international protest against the planned construction of two LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) terminals near Trieste were held on July 1 in this North Adriatic city. The two terminals are to be located in the open sea, near the sear boundary with Slovenia, while the other will be built inland.

31.05.2006 Dusica Radojcic from Zelena Istra environmental NGO reports for Alert that in international conference will be held in Portoroz, Sloveni, on June 5-6, 2006. The conference, Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Adriatic is organized by the Slovenian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Urban Planning, in cooperation with UNEP/MAP INFO/RAC.

12.05.2006 Kongresi i IV i Partia e Europës së Gjelbër, i mbajtur javën e kaluar në Helsinki, miratoi dy rezoluta që u japin mbështetje të plotë përpjekjeve të shoqatës së Eko Kvarnerit në ndërtimin e terminalit në Omisajl, si dhe aktiviteteve të Zelena Istras në parandalimin e fushave të golfit në Istria.

12.05.2006 The 4th Congress of the European Greens Party, held last weekend in Helsinki, adopted two resolutions giving full support to the efforts of Eko Kvarner association regarding the construction of LNG terminal in Omisalj, as well as the activities of Zelena Istra’s activities to prevent the construction of golf courses in Istria.

22.03.2006 The Eko Kvarner association believes that the decision of the Government of Croatia to establish a working group for the construction of LNG (liquid natural gas) is wise and sensible. According to Eko Kvarner, the establishment of the Working Group creates the necessary conditions for quality selection of location of the Terminal, provided that all activities of the LNG are fully transparent.

21.03.2006 On the occasion of March 21, the Spring Day, the Ecologists’ Movement of Macedonia (DEM) presented its Annual Awards for 2005 and announced the start of the campaign for collection and recycling of plastic bottles and containers, organized under its activities to protect and conserve the environment.

02.03.2006 The activists of EkoKvarner environmental association continue with their activities related to the problem of LNG (liquid natural gas) terminal that is to be built, according to existing plans, in Omisalj. EkoKvarner activists believe that have achieved the primary goal of the campaign to realize the right to elementary debate on the location of the terminal with the local population.

26.10.2005 The Commission for Assessment of Druzba Adrija Project Environmental Study rejected the study as incomplete and decided that it could not enter into public debate procedure. The decision was adopted after several hours of debate.

05.10.2005 Zelena Istra je za trajanja javne rasprave uputila primjedbe na Prijedlog prostornog plana uređenja Grada Novigrada i to na dio koji se odnosi na pretvaranje šume hrasta medunca u priobalju u građevinsku zonu, podržavajući na taj način i lokalno stanovništvo, koje se toj namjeri žestoko usprotivilo još prošle godine, kada je na javnoj raspravi bio Detaljni plan uređenja s prijedlogom iste sudbine za šumu.
