Italia: Calabria, dopo Fortugno il grido di Bregantini 27.10.2005 Sono cominciate le audizioni della Comissione antimafia in merito all'omicidio del vicepresidente del Consiglio regionale calabrese, Francesco Fortugno, ucciso mentre era in un seggio elettorale per le Primarie dell'Unione, a Locri. Dal Vescovo della Diocesi di Locri-Gerace, p. GianCarlo Maria Bregantini, arriva una lettera di forte condanna e denuncia per chi ha eseguito il delitto e per chi lo ha comandato. L'appello di Bregantini vuole essere un invito a reagire per ridare speranza e accrescere la stima per la vita e l’impegno della classe politica. Il vescovo invita quindi ad annunciare, denunciare, rinunciare, tre scelte che già erano stata attuate dal Vescovo don Tonino Bello. A questo aggiunge che "se occorre la zona deve essere militarizzata, perché i colpevoli sentano la forza dello Stato". Una forte richiesta di giustizia che arriva dal Consorzio Sociale GOEL che raccoglie più di venti cooperative sociali che pongono chiare richieste per prevenire gli affari dell''ndrangheta.
