In another milestone in India-Pakistan relations, the first bus from Lahore to Amritsar arrived at the Wagah border on Friday. There were 39 passengers on board the bus connecting the two Punjabs. Among those on the bus were renowned Pakistani folk singer Reshma's seven-member troupe and three Indians who had gone to Lahore to watch the first Pakistan-India Test.

According to Glas Slavonije (Osijek based daily), the documentary film on the war in Vukovar, produced by B92, was completed last week. The screenplay was written by Drago Hedl, editor with Feral Tribune magazine, and was directed by Janko Baljak, film director from Belgrade.

Two hundred prominent women from around the globe have crafted an 'Urgent Peace Plan' to end the war in Iraq. Three thousand women signed on before the campaign even launched and another 3,000 have done so in the 24 hours since. If you wish to sign, be patient--the Web site has been overloaded with users much of Friday already.
